New book trilogy!

Sorry I haven't updated this blog! I've been so busy lately with writing.

I'm excited to say that I've finished my latest novel, and will continue working on its trilogy!

My novel is called The Dark Reign, and it takes place below New York City in the Underworld, where humans known as soulless run rampant.

Currently querying literary agents to find it a good home!

Here's the official description:

    "The soulless – humans with strange abilities and immorality – live beneath New York City in a place called the Underworld. Born without souls, they’re dangerous, emotionless, and unpredictable. They’re led by the Dark Queen, who despises the people on the surface and wants to overthrow New York.

    The Sentinels are the city’s only defenders, trained in the art of hunting and killing soulless. Riley Stark, an eighteen-year-old high school graduate, decides to join them in search of excitement. During her training, Riley discovers the terrible truth – her ancestor, Mira Stark, was the greatest Sentinel in the Order who slayed the former Dark King before she mysteriously vanished. It is now Riley’s destiny to stop the soulless once and for all.

    Riley makes an unlikely ally along the way – a soulless boy named Caleb, who’s also the Dark Queen’s son. Despite the war between their people, they fall in love and risk it all for each other, much to the dismay of the Sentinels and the Dark Queen. Caleb isn’t the only one keen to help her – the Dark Queen’s current husband, King Bane, wants to destroy his wife and claim the Underworld for himself.

    As she continues the fight, she learns that her father has been harboring an old secret, The Dark Queen plans to turn Riley’s people into experiments, Mira Stark is still alive and corrupted, and Caleb might have ulterior motives behind his feelings for her.

     With hidden danger around every corner, Riley needs to be careful with who she trusts. Everyone has a secret and no one is what they seem, especially her own people. With the world hanging in the balance and Riley’s life at stake, she must rise up and destroy The Dark Reign or everything she loves will be lost forever."
